Wolford begins dentist practice in North Platte
NORTH PLATTE, Nebraska -- A McCook High School alumni is now practicing dentistry in North Platte.
Dr. Kate Wolford, D.D.S, a 2005 McCook High School graduate, is the full-time dentist at the West Central District Health Department in North Platte Wolford grew up in McCook and after graduating from MHS, attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she graduated with honors, receiving her Bachelor's degree in nutrition sciences. She is a recent graduate from the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry.
She married Jake Wawrzynkiewicz in 2009 and the couple resides in North Platte.
According to the West Central District Health Department, Wolford prides herself in her high standard of dentistry, as well as a kind and caring approach with her patients. "We are very lucky to have her and we will all greatly benefit from her many contributions to our community and to the health department," said a representative from the West Central District Health Department.
The West Central District Health Department is accepting new patients. They accept Medicaid and patients with no insurance. Non-Meidcaid fees are at a discounted rate based on family size and gross yearly income. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, call 308-696-1201.
