Drums and dogs coming to Wellfleet

WELLFLEET, Nebraska -- Everyone is welcome to join the fun with "Drums and Dogs" to celebrate the end of the summer and the start of the new school year! The Wellfleet United Methodist Church will be sponsoring an evening of fun and food on Sunday Aug. 25, under the shelter on the main street in Wellfleet.

The "Music With Meaning" presented by "Sheltered Reality" will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by hot dog supper including chips and beans, watermelon and drinks.

Sheltered Reality is a drum corp made up of drummers from ages of 7 - 46. They play drums to modern pop/ country songs. This area group was formed in 1996 and is dedicated to being a youth-oriented group featuring choreographed drumming that provides fun and lively entertainment for all ages. Through their performance they encourage youth to believe in themselves, do whatever it takes, never give up, to do good and be a friend. A free will donation will be accepted.
