24/7 weather now available

McCOOK, Nebraska -- McCook area residents will now have access to 24/7 local weather due to a new feature from Great Plains Communications.

The new weather feature will offer current local and national weather via advanced satellite imaging along with the five-day forecast. The service will be the most local weather available to residents. It will air on the company's local channel, GPC-TV, which airs on channel two.

"We know that our customers have wanted access to 24/7 local and national weather. We are very pleased to be able to provide a brand new, advanced weather system in addition to our popular local programming like high school sporting events and Husker shows," said Casey Garrigan, Programming Manager for GPC-TV at Great Plains Communications.

The new feature airs on GPC-TV in Grant, Imperial, and McCook.

Great Plains Communications is the largest independent telecommunications company in Nebraska and provides services solely to rural areas.
