Nicole Elizabeth Felker and Jonathan Mitchell Olsen, both of McCook, Nebraska, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the bride-to-be are Don and Lisa Felker of McCook. Grandparents are Betty Davidson of Indianola, Nebraska, the late Lee Davidson and Gene and Cleta Baumfalk of McCook.
Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Bob and Connie Olsen of McCook. Grandparents are the late Anders and Jeanette Olsen and the late George and Frances Mitchell.
The bride-to-be graduated from McCook High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is a registered nurse at Community Hospital in McCook.
The prospective bridegroom graduated McCook High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois and a Masters Degree in health, P.E., and recreation from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. He is the head baseball coach, athletic director and an instructor at McCook Community College.
An Aug. 2, 2013, wedding is planned at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McCook.
The couple will reside in McCook with their dog, Wally.
