OBERLIN, Kansas -- Eva Barratt Bryan, 99, died Saturday (June 15, 2013), at Decatur County Good Samaritan Center in Oberlin.

She was born Aug. 21, 1913, in Decatur County, Kansas, to Clyde and Bessie (Stiner) Berry.

She lived on the Decatur county farm and later moved to Oberlin. She was a member of United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women in Oberlin.

She married Arlie Barratt on March 13, 1932, and after he passed away, Gilbert Bryan on May 17, 1969.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Bessie Berry; husbands, Arlie Barratt and Gilbert Bryan; stepdaughter, Beverly Fleenor; siblings, Gerald, Carroll, Rex, Don and Louise Berry and step-grandson, Kevin Kelley.

Survivors included sons, Dennis (Leona) Barratt of Lincoln, Nebraska; stepdaughters, Helen Jaderborg of Longmont, Colorado, Donna (Dick) Kelley of Oberlin, Detta (Elden) Anderson of Oberlin, Cheryl (Wane) Stull of Solomon, and Janice Sauvage of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, Duane (Phyllis) Berry of Grand Junction, Colorado; 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services are Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Pauls Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Babcock officiating. Interment is at the Oberlin Cemetery,

Visitaton is Monday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, 8 a.m. until service time.

Memorials may be given to Oberlin Library or United Methodist Church
