McCook FFA chapter brings home awards from state convention

McCOOK, Nebraska -- McCook Senior High FFA members were awarded the Top 15 Premier Chapter Award at the state FFA convention.

Other results from the convention include:

State degrees: Cashous Bortner, McKenzie Crowe, Collin Messersmith, Morgan Schilling, Melinda Shields

Ag Sales: Morgan Schilling - sixth place, Trevor Gleason, Chance Koetter and Collin Messersmith White ribbons. Team - 15th place.

Agriscience - Cole Peters: white ribbon

Nursery and Landscape: Cashous Bortner: fifth place, Lucas Post (Blue Ribbon) and the team with Sydney Pfeifer, recieved ninth place.

Livestock Management: (Morgan Barnhart, Caitlyn Mockry, Melinda Shields, Kylie Peter, Justin Samuelson) - 11th place.

Ag Issues: (Marlys Brenning, Madison Crowe, Stephen Hoffman) fifth place.

Ag Issues Academy: Chance Koetter and Liz Haag.
