Big entrance
Prom couples in all their finery converge at the high school auditorium Saturday night, for the promenade procession. Couples were announced inside the auditorium and walked through the high school to the former National Guard Armory, where the prom dance was held. A few couples, like EmIine Sides and Steele Sullivan, arrived in style with other couples in a motor home driven by chauffeur for-the-night Terry Sides. Parents came to the rescue when a few mishaps occurred, such as Larry Shields, who does a few adjustments to John Deere tractor for his daughter, Melinda Shields and her date, Gavin Borland, and Melissa Florum, who fixes the broken strap on the prom dress of her daughter, Tesla, while her date, Drew Fassler and one of her friends look on.
