High Plains Museum board member Dorothy Henton straightens "the kitchen" of the dollhouse that Bonnie Monzon of McCook, Nebraska, has donated to the museum. Bonnie, a well-known crafter and wheat weaver, made much of the furniture herself. As Beatrix McKillip of Lincoln, front left, discovered Friday, "The dollhouse has a dollhouse!" Five-year-old Beatrix and her sister, 7-year-old Lillias, were visiting their grandparents, Carey and Don Harrison of Stratton, for the Easter Weekend and stopped at the museum in McCook. Other museum visitors who discovered Bonnie's dollhouse were 6-year-old Carlee and 3-three-old Julie Wolfe, the daughters of Dan and Cindi Wolfe of Lincoln, and 2-year-old Aden Wolfe, the son of Matt and Ashley Wolfe of Grinnell, Iowa; the three are the grandchildren of Diane and Greg Wolfe of Indianola. Aden holds the doll that Bonnie donated with the dollhouse. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday afternoons; admission is free.
