Roxy Lang of Wilsonville, Nebraska, took this shot on Feb. 8, when the temperature reached 58 degress and the region had only recorded 0.05 inches of precipitation for the year. If the forecast for the next few days proves valid, this field of alfalfa, just off Highway 89, could be layered under a thick blanket of snow. Camera settings used were: f/13, iso100, 1/400, 300mm.The McCook Daily Gazette would love to showcase your weather photos. Readers can contribute to our daily weather page, subject to space and color availability, by emailing photos to or bringing them into the Gazette offices at West First and E Streets.
