Setting up for the home show

Greg Parde, foreground, and Kim Parde of Parde Electric, McCook, Nebraska, this morning set up a sample of the new McCook Community College campus lighting in preparation for the McCook Area Chamber of Commerce's 23rd annual "Home & Leisure Show." Kim Parde said his booth will feature York heating and air products, as well as new LED lighting options. The chamber plans the home show today from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m until 7 p.m.; and Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., all in the new MCC Events Center on East M, just half-a-block west of McCook's swimming pool. Admission is $2; children 12 and under will be admitted free with a paid admission. Vendors will range from A-W -- ABC Seamless Home Solutions to Willow Creek Meats, with Girlie Girl TuTus and Goose Pit BBQ in between.
