Friday, January 25, 2013

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Red Willow County Commissioners will consider appointment of an interim director of the Red Willow County Health Department at their regular meeting Monday.

The action came after a previous decision not to seek a replacement for the director, who resigned in December.

That item is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. Monday in the commissioners' room at the courthouse.

Other items on Monday's meeting, which begins at 9 a.m., include a hearing on the county's one- and six-year road plans, a work order for bridge inspections, motor vehicle tax exemption applications, real and personal property tax exemptions and setting a date for public hearing.

Because of a typographical error, the commissioners will have to readopt a resolution on zoning regulations.

Other items on the agenda include annual noxious weed control reports, an update on noxious weed inspections from Sept. 21, 2012, an consent agenda items including payroll, audit report, authorization of the chairman to sign an agreement with Nebraska Department of Roads for the Reimbursement of Actual Costs for the County Surveyor to Tie Out Corners prior to and after Construction of Project No. STPD-89-2(108) Danbury West; Changes to the Pledged Securities for the County Treasurer, and reappointment of members to the county planning commission and approval of a grant related to Hillcrest Nursing Home improvements.
