Accidents

JAN. 17, 2013:

5:35 p.m., 503 West B Street -- a vehicle driven by Jane M. Waterman, 56, Atwood, Kansas, while backing from a parking space struck a parked pickup owned by John M. Foley, age unavailable, 1401 Circle Drive. The collision caused an estimated $2,500 in combined vehicle damage.

SUNDAY:

11:55 a.m., U.S. Highway 83 -- an SUV driven by Susan M. Havlicek, 58, 1004 W. Fourth Street, while pulling into traffic on U.S. Highway 83 from the Schmick's Market parking lot, struck a vehicle driven by Joyce M. Rippe, 53, Danbury, Nebraska. The collision caused an estimated $4,000 in combined vehicle damage.

MONDAY:

Unknown time, location -- a vehicle owned by Kristine R. Arp, 46, 311 E. Third Street, was struck by an unknown vehicle at an unknown time, possibly while at the Spirit Shop parking lot, causing an estimated $1,500 in vehicle damage. The collision left minor white paint transfer and gouges in plastic on the vehicle.

FOUND DOG: STILL HERE - A male chocolate lab/aussie mix pup was found on the 1700 block of Hwy 83 and brought to the Humane Society Saturday, Jan. 19.

FOUND DOG: An adult female black lab wearing a GI Joe dogtag was found on the 1000 block of West 10th and brought to the Humane Society on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013.
