Accidents

JAN 13, 2013:

1:24 a.m., 1300 block of East C Street -- a pickup driven by Joshua Chip Kirkham, 29, Rayville, Missouri, backed through a snow enbankment into a wooden fence owned by the Cedar Motel, then fled the scene. Kirkham was arrested for suspicion of DUI a short time later. The collision caused an estimated $500 in property damage.

JAN 17, 2013:

5:35 p.m., 503 West B Street -- a vehicle driven by Jane M. Waterman, 56, Atwood, Kansas, while backing out of a parking space, struck a parked pickup owned by John M. Foley, age unavailable, 1401 West Circle Drive. The collision caused an estimated $2,500 in combined vehicle damage.
