Registrations still open for Women's Retreat

McCook, Nebraska--There is still room to register for this weekend's Women Winter Retreat in McCook. Women are invited to attend the retreat, "For Such a Time as This," featuring national author and speaker, Martha Lawley, on Friday evening and all day Saturday, Jan. 25-26.

The retreat, sponsored by the McCook Evangelical Free Church, begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25 and runs from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26. All events will be held at the McCook Christian Church at 507 West B Street in McCook due to the building project at the Evangelical Free Church.

Registration

Registration for the two-day retreat is only $30. Make checks payable to: Women's Winter Retreat, and mail registrations to: Travi Rambali, 5 Parkview Drive, McCook, NE 69001. No phone registrations are allowed, but call with questions at 910-489-4337. Please leave a message.

Online registration and payment is available at www.mccookefc.org. Once registered, no refunds are available, but registration is transferable or can be applied to the conference's scholarship fund. Daycare is not provided. Due to the nature of the event, please do not bring children to the retreat. Nursing babies are allowed. Senior high through adult women are encouraged to attend.

Featured Speaker -- Martha Lawley

Martha Lawley, author of several books, has been blessed with many opportunities to lead women's conferences and retreats nationwide. God has graciously given her the gift of teaching and a passion to see lives continually changed through the power of God. Her humble, straightforward manner challenges women to go further with God. Her holistic approach to ministry emphasizes the importance of cooperating fully with God in all areas of spiritual transformation. Special Guest Drama--Kimberly Zweygardt

Kimberly Zweygardt, will be performing a special drama on Friday evening. Kim is a Christ follower, wife, mother, writer, blogger, dramatist, worship leader, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, a fused glass artist and a taker of naps. Stephanie Montes is Praise and Worship Team Leader. Christy Stevens will emcee the Friday evening program as well as coordinate drama on Saturday.

The purpose of the Women's Winter Retreat is to equip and refresh believers, to reach out to others in evangelism, and to give God the glory.
