Walmart manager Nate Henning accepted the first quarter "Honor Business" banner from the chamber and the McCook Cordials on behalf of the 250 managers and associates that he said "all play an integral part in supporting our store and our community."
Chamber board of directors member Darryl Volquardsen said Walmart was selected for the honor "for all you do for the Chamber and for the community," and for saying "yes" when asked to support Chamber activities.
Henning said, "We know the importance of customer and community service. We have so many employees who go above and beyond for the store and the community. It's an honor to accept this award on behalf of all our Walmart associates. We're very, very proud to be able to receive this award."
