Commissioners to decide whether to replace health director
McCOOK, Nebraska -- Current director of the Red Willow County Health Department, Darcey Hansen, is slated to meet with county commissioners Monday concerning personnel issues.
Following that meeting, scheduled for 9:20 a.m. Monday in the commissioner's room at the courthouse, the commissioners will have an opportunity to decide whether to advertise for a replacement for Hansen, who has submitted her resignation.
Other items on the agenda include an appearance by Chris Berry, diversion program specialist with Lutheran Family Services, who will request approveal of an application for a five county diversion program grant.
Gary Dicenta will present a copy of a letter from the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources about a Republican River Compact call advisory.
Items on a consent agenda include minutes from the commissioners meetings health insurance and miscellaneous claims, an agreement for Hillcrest Nursing Home to provide meals for the county jail, agreements with MPPD to cross a county road and a rental agreement for a generator for the county jail, and the appointment of Karen Kliment and reappointment of Randy Dean and Jim Howard to the Hillcrest Nursing Home board.
