INDIANOLA, Nebraska -- Terry Little, pastoral musician and folk singer, will begin the Advent/Christmas Season by presenting a concert called, Acoustic Christmas: A Musical Journey from Advent to Epiphany. Little is from Holy Spirit Parish, in Plattsmouth. For some years he and his son, Jonathan, traveled the U.S. spreading stories of our faith by music; they even appeared on EWTN. He has been a parish choir director, pastoral musician and folk singer many years.
The concert will be Sunday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m. in St. Catherine Hall, Indianola. The 75-minute concert captures the spirit of the liturgical seasons from Advent's joyful anticipation, continuing through the celebration of the birth of the Christ Child at Christmas and finally to Epiphany's visit of the Magi and the first revelation of Christ to the Gentiles.
Traditional and contemporary Christmastide songs along with Scripture and stories are offered by Terry in an acoustic setting with six- and twelve-string guitar accompaniment. It is family oriented; suitable for all ages. A free-will offering is asked. Light refreshments will be available. Plan to attend this unique musical journey.
