MCCOOK, Nebraska -- Kayla June Guthrie of McCook, Nebraska, and Joshua John Johnson of Burlington Colorado, were united in marriage Oct. 20, 2012, at McCook Christian Church with the Rev. Clark Bates officiating.

Parents of the bride are Marty and Jane Guthrie of McCook. Grandparents are Beverly Guthrie of Holbrook, Nebraska and Grace Hanthorn of McCook.

Parents of the bridegroom are Johnnie and Virginia Johnson of Burlington. Grandparents are Polly Johnson of Burlington and Opal and Loyd Klassen of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado.

The matron of honor was Keri Wilkinson of Lincoln, Nebraska. Bridesmaids were Katie Guthrie, sister of the bride, of Tennessee, and Sarah Oertli of Lincoln.

The best man was Kyle Winchelle of Lincoln.

Bridegroomsmen were Luke Watt and Brandon Riehl of Lincoln.

The flower girl was Dailee Guthrie, niece of the bride, of Lincoln. The ring bearer was Jacob Guthrie, nephew of bride, of Lincoln.

Ushers were Josiah Hain and Victor Lee of Lincoln.

Candle lighters were Shayli and Shawna Wilkinson, nieces of the bride.

Guestbook and program attendant was Amanda Dame of McCook.

The bride graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor's of Fine Art and is working with Lincoln Public Schools as a bus driver.

The bridegroom graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor's in international studies and Spanish and works at People's City Mission in Lincoln.

The couple will reside in Lincoln.
