Ryan Davis, owner of Davis Tree Service, levels a new poly-resin star applied to the facade of the Historic Fox Theater in downtown McCook, Nebraska, this morning, with the help of Fox supporters Lloyd Benjamin and Charles Coleman. Cambridge sculptor Gary Ginther made a mold from the original (damaged and aged) stars and poured 25 new stars for the facade and four spares. McCook auto body technician Lester Bieker painted the stars to catch natural light in the daylight and the facade's neon lighting at night.
