Commercial artist's life cut short

McCOOK, Nebraska -- A scratch art drawing of "Union Pacific 998" by Dean Hofman is on loan to the Museum of the High Plains in downtown McCook, Nebraska. It will hang with the exhibit of a collection of railroad art, "Railroads and the Making of Modern America," loaned by Sheldon Statewide to the McCook museum through November.
