Words escape me

OK, I have nothing: at what point does the mind become so full of distress, anger and confusion that there is no response? We see political upheaval as people argue over positions that are based more upon party positions than truths and needs. If there is no position to stand upon one simply resorts to name calling. People need help, food, jobs, and less demands, but don't speak that truth; don't say that a high percentage of people do not carry their share in taxes or that they may simply be unable; spend $2 Billion on a national election while multiple generations to come carry the weight of national debt from careless waste; watch the wars of power and greed take innocent lives; the crimes of stabbings in New York and shootings in L.A. and the loss of kids, teens and adults all about us; criticize and look down our noses at a doping bicyclist yet athletic performance supersedes academics and long term health; protect the choice to take a life but attack someone's integrity in order to gain votes: it seems that there is something worse than a storm brewing in the Atlantic waters. I read the news at the end of the day and honestly -- words escape me. The feeling is that I have nothing.
