Shane and Amanda North of St. Libory, Nebraska, announce the birth of their son, Liam Austin, who was born Aug. 7, 2012, at Mary Lanning Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 21 inches long. He has one brother, Quinten James, 2-1/2 years old. Grandparents are Karen and Marion North of Grand Island, Nebraska, formerly of McCook and Theresa and Denis Anderson of Fremont, Nebraska. Great-grandparents are Robert and Edith Andreasen of Fremont and Geri Waage of North Bend, Nebraska.
