The McCook Chamber of Commerce selected Horse Creek Inn in McCook as the honor business for the fourth quarter. Perry Strombeck, owner, said a number of interior improvements are planned, including those for the dining area and guest rooms. "We are positioning ourselves very well for the future," Stombeck said, with upgrades for rooms including flat screen tvs with HD that will be able to connect to laptops. The motel has a total of 20 employees and first opened up in McCook in October 1995. Holding the banner is Alan Gunther, left, Chamber president and Perry Strombeck.
