Accidents

FRIDAY:

12:45 a.m., 600 block of Sunset Road -- a parked pickup owned by Christine M. Lindsay, age unavailable, 606 Sunset Road, was struck by a pickup driven by Ross L. Wallace, 33, 518 W. First Street. According to the accident report, several witnesses reported seeing a male driver and female exit the vehicle and assess the damage the collision had caused, before driving away. Wallace's vehicle was later located by investigators, unoccupied, on the 500 block of W. First Street. The collision caused an estimated $4,000 in combined vehicle damage and alcohol was suspected to be a factor.

MONDAY:

7:30 a.m., East Second Street -- a parked vehicle owned by William B. Matson, age unavailable, 305 E. Second Street, was struck by an unknown vehicle during the late night hours of Sunday or early morning hours of Monday. The collision caused an estimated $2,500 in vehicle damage.
