UNL Homecoming crowns Farnam student as king

LINCOLN, Nebraska -- Seniors Ty Schurr of Farnam and Hannah Lambert of Lincoln were announced king and queen of UNL's Homecoming celebration.

They were crowned on the field at Memorial Stadium at halftime of the Nebraska-Wisconsin football game.

Schurr is an agribusiness major with an emphasis in ag banking and finance. The son of Jerry and Linda Schurr, he is president of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Student Advisory Board.

Lambert is a music education major with minors in communication studies and psychology. The daughter of Sam and Kelle Lambert, she is the drum major of the Cornhusker Marching Band.
