Trio of alleged burglars plead innocent to crimes

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Three alleged burglars accused of breaking into a West First Street residence in May each pleaded not guilty to felony charges in Red Willow County District Court.

The accused, 20-year-old Toni Hopkins of 906 East E Street, 22-year-old Johnathon M. Wickizer of Benkelman, Nebraska, and 18-year-old Rayna Snyder of 115 West O Street, have each been charged with a Class III felony offense of burglary, stemming from more than $9,000 in cash, in addition to jewelry and other items allegedly taken from the home of Hopkin's mother.

After entering a not guilty plea on Oct. 1, 2012, Hopkins was scheduled for a jury trial on Jan. 15, 2013, and her case was also scheduled for a Jan. 7, 2013, status hearing.

Wickizer similarly pleaded not guilty on Oct. 1, 2012, and was scheduled for a jury trial on Dec. 4, 2012, and his case was also scheduled for a status hearing on Dec. 3, 2012.

Snyder pleaded not guilty in September and she is scheduled for a motions hearing on Oct. 22, 2012, in the case against her.
