McCOOK, Nebraska -- Carpenter Breland Funeral Home and McCook Community College are teaming up to offer a free class dispelling the myths about funeral homes.
Titled "Funeral Home Myth Busters" this one-night class will be Oct. 10 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, 305 West C.
Tim and Kristi Daum, owners of Carpenter Breland, along with funeral director Donna Hall are the instructors.
Students will tour the funeral home and crematory and get the opportunity to learn everything they ever wanted to know about funerals, ask about any myths associated with the industry, and participate in an open time of sharing, questions, and answers.
Participants must have a means of transportation to travel from building to building. This community service class is free of charge.
