Singer Alexa and clogger Alayna Whipple, the daughters of Christine and Rod Whipple of Arapahoe, Nebraska, perform at the annual "Burton's Bend Music Fest" in Holbrook, Nebraska, Friday and Saturday. Alexa was in "a blue mood," singing "Blue," "Lovesick Blues" and "Blue Kentucky Girl." Alayna dances with regional and national champion Becka Snyder Cloggers of Holbrook. The Whipple sisters were among the old-time western, country, bluegrass and gospel singers who filled the school gym with true music of America.
