Colten Hiatt, left, lead guitarist of the local band My Starving Lion, joins bass guitarist Dylan Power Friday night at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds. The band was the opening act for headliner group VOTA, a Christian rock band of Lincoln, Nebraska. About 250 attended the show, according to Red Willow County Fair board member Wayne Watkins. My Starving Lion is a secular band, yet weaves the Christian message through its music, according to founder Adam Spanier. Members include Adam Spanier, lead vocals, rhythm guitar, Elise Kerchal - vocals, keys, piano, Dylan Power, bass, vocals, Spencer Van Pelt, drums and Colten Hiatt, lead guitar, synth, vocals.
