Honey for buns

Although Matt Sehnert, McCook, Nebraska's premiere baker, could use the honey from the bees in his tree for honey buns at his bakery, two McCook-area beekeepers plan to move the hive to more bee-friendly environs after the queen bee relocates from the tree to the box. Sehnert said the process of relocating the hive has been fascinating, "a wonderful experience," an opportunity to eliminate the hive in the tree near his backyard without killing the bees. The beekeepers, Dave Remmenga and Randy Chambers, have been working in McCook and have already moved several hives to their bee farm.
