School board to consider teaching contract

McCOOK, Nebraska -- The McCook School Board of Education will be asked to approve a teaching contract at its regular meeting Monday, 6:30 p.m. at the Junior High conference room.

In addition to approving the contract for John Benjamin Hyatt as a special education teacher, the board will also be asked to approve the 2012-2012 student handbook for the junior/senior high and administrative compensation package.

In other business, the McCook Public Schools Business Manager Rick Haney will discuss copier contracts the district has with companies that provide photocopy machines.

The board will be asked to approve the sale of school district property, the bus barn that is located on West Q, if an offer is made by Monday's meeting.
