With a 1966 Mustang in the background, Adrian Casados stands beside the 1955 Chevy he's restoring "from the ground up" in his new shop, "Custom Restorations," at 509 East B Street in McCook, Nebraska. Casados grew up in his dad's one-man classic car restoration shop, and enhanced his sheet metal fabrication and shaping and welding skills working then in the aviation industry. In the shop he opened in McCook in December 2011, Casados specializes in frame-off, ground-up automobile restoration. His services include custom paint, rust repair and body modification, and old world metal shaping such as English wheel and hammer forming. For more information on Casados and photographic journals of his restorations -- four of them named "Demi," "Miss Hattie," "Christina Jeanne" and "Roxanne" -- go to customrestorations.net. Contact Casados at (308) 999-0185 or by e-mail at customrestorations@hotmail.com
