Dizzy Dollers view variety of crocheted dolls, clothes

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Seven members along with one guest, June McDonald of Culbertson, Nebraska, met for the March meeting to view the lesson on doll clothes and crocheted dolls.

All kind of dolls were on display, from tiny dolls with beautiful crocheted clothing to large-sized dolls with beautiful crocheted or knitted fancy sweaters, bonnets and booties. Lots of antique clothing were shown, both hand sewn and intricate detailed crocheting done on them. Several doll quilts and blankets were also brought.

The next meeting will be at the Horizon Bank on Wednesday April 11 at 1 p.m., the lesson will be on Gerber and Baby dolls. Anyone interested in dolls or collecting are invited to attend.
