Cigarettes, cash stolen in break-in

PALISADE, Nebraska -- The Hitchcock County, Nebraska, sheriff's department is investigating a Palisade grocery store break-in that netted individuals cigarettes and $880 in currency.

Hitchcock County Sheriff D. Bryan Leggott reports that individuals broke into Richard Alan's Grocery Store in downtown Palisade during the early morning hours of Monday, March 19.

Suspects stole cigarettes and $880 in currency from the automated teller machine inside the store.
