Michelle Neel and Bradley Johnson, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Richard and Joyce Neel of McCook, Nebraska, and Martin and Connie Johnson of Omaha, Nebraska.

Grandparents of the prospective bride-to-be are Margaret Neel of McCook and the late Stanley Neel and the late Harold and Ruth Shields.

Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Phyllis Schmidt of LeMars, Iowa, the late Marlowe Schmidt and the late Paul and Margaret Johnson.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Republican Valley High School. She has bachelors of science degree from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and a masters of science degree from Colorado State University. She works at the Child Development Center of Colorado Springs as an occupational therapist.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Millard West High School. He has a bachelor of science degree from University of Nebraska-Kearney and works in construction management as a project engineer for Calcon Constructors in Denver, Colorado.

A June 8, 2012, wedding is planned in Evergreen, Colorado.

The couple will reside in Colorado Springs.
