Dads Brad Lauer, Garrett Nokes and Travis Balderston, all of McCook, Nebraska, treat their kids to an early-morning breakfast of pancakes, sausage patties and eggs at the sixth annual "Ag Appreciation Breakfast" hosted by the Ag Task Force of the McCook Area Chamber of Commerce the morning of March 13. Three-year-old Aiden Lauer waited with Bill McConville as his dad cut up his pancake. The three pretty, red-headed Balderston sisters -- from left, Desarae, 13 years old; Rylie, seven; and Ashlyn, 10 -- enjoyed Dad's attention at breakfast time. Seven-year-old Trevor and three-year-old Parker Nokes ate breakfast with dad, Garrett, and Dad's buddy, Chad Van Campen, right. The ag appreciation breakfast is the chamber's way of recognizing the hard work and dedication of all those involved directly and indirectly in agriculture.'
