McCOOK, Nebraska -- Youth who will be entering grades 9 through 12 this fall are invited to participate in the Big Red Summer Academic Camps to be held June 10-15, 2012 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. These career exploration camps are an opportunity for youth to spend time investigating an interest or potential career while spending time on campus, states Mary K. Warner, Extension Educator.
The Big Red Academic Camps are hosted by Nebraska 4-H and UNL faculty members in various academic areas across campus. The 2012 camp offerings include: crop science, culinary arts and food science, entrepreneurship, film making, education, the environment, fiber arts, unicameral youth legislature and veterinary science.
