Parents of the bride to be are Richard and Kristalee Cook of Culbertson, Nebraska. Grandparents are Sharon Johnson of McCook, Nebraska, the late Aaron Johnson and Ronald and Lila Cook of Culbertson. Great-grandmother is Cindy Ethier of McCook.
Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Demaris Dietz of Clovis, New Mexico and Jay Grant of Fort Collins, Colorado. Grandparents are Don and Rosemary Grant of Fort Collins, and William and Jeanette Orsborn of Kearney.
The bride to be is a 2006 graduate of McCook High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Unified. She is employed by Kearney Public Schools as a substitute teacher and the Alley Rose in Kearney.
The prospective bridegroom is 2008 graduate of Kearney Catholic High School and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He is also employed at the Alley Rose in Kearney.
A May 19, 2012, wedding is planned at Yaney Heritage Park in Kearney.
