INDIANOLA, Nebraska -- Kaitlin Anne Powell of McCook, Nebraska, and Buckley Emerson Haag of Bartley, Nebraska, were united in marriage on June 18, 2011, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola. with the Rev. Robert Barnhill officiating.

Parents of the couple are Vicki League of McCook and Gayle and Elaine Haag of Bartley. Grandmother of the bride is Bettye Pursley and great-grandmother of the bride is Leone Frenzen, both of Benkelman, Nebraska. Grandfather of the bridegroom is Francis D. Haag of Bartley, Nebraska.

Jacob Powell, brother of the bride, of Redcliff, Alberta, Canada, escorted his sister down the aisle.

Matron of honor was Jasmine Hogan, sister of the bride, of Tempe, Arizona. Bridesmaids were Shelby Haag, sister of the bridegroom, of Bartley, Nebraska, Chantel Ele of McCook, Nebraska, Melissa Guerrero of Grand Island, Nebraska, and Tracy Powell, sister-in-law of the bride, of Redcliff, Alberta, Canada.

The best men were Lucas Haag of Manhattan and Denton Haag of Bartley, brothers of the bridegroom. Bridegroomsmen were Jacob Haag, cousin of the bridegroom, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Brandon Jacobitz of Kenesaw, Nebraska and Andy Dumer of Bartley.

Ushers were Danny Hogan, brother-in-law of the bride, of Tempe, Arizona, Chad Snow of Boise, Idaho, Mitchell Hamilton of McCook, and Tyson Benner of Central City, Nebraska.

Organist for the ceremony was Shawn Pfanstiel of Grand Island, Nebraska. Instrumental soloists were Donna Roggenkamp of Indianola, Nebraska, playing the piccolo trumpet and Miranda Baxter of Grand Island, Nebraska, violinist. Vocal trio was sung by Tre Sostre members Sue Ankersen, Jerilynn Carr and Angie Reiners, all of McCook.

Raymond Haag of Bartley served as lector. Caleb Sughroue of Bartley was altar boy. Acolyte was Roger Buschkoetter of Indianola.

Personal attendants were Lisa Lyons of Omaha, Nebraska, Lindsey Dame of McCook, and Jessamy Thornton of Eglin, Florida. Guestbook attendant was Jamie Salas of Indianola. Program attendants were Liz Naber and Anne Pillar, both of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

A dinner and dance reception followed at the McCook City Auditorium. Host couples were Mark and Darci Newman, aunt and uncle of the bride, of Andover, Maine, Russ and Sue Ankersen of McCook, Ed and Lucille Heim, aunt and uncle of the bridegroom, of Hoxie, Kansas, and Jay and Susan Wyatt, cousins of the bridegroom, of Lebanon, Nebraska.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of McCook High School, a 2007 Chadron State College graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a 2011 graduate of the University of Nebraska Dental College with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She is a partner at Southwest Nebraska Dental Center in McCook and Imperial, Nebraska.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Republican Valley High School and a 2007 Hastings College graduate, with a Bachelor of Science degree in agribusiness. He farms and ranches with his family south of Bartley, Nebraska.

The couple honeymooned in the mountains of Colorado and resides in rural Bartley.
