Teel, Werkmeister wedding

MCCOOK, Nebraska -- Starla Michelle Teel of McCook, Nebraska and Kyle Dean Werkmeister of Maywood, Nebraska were united in marriage Sept. 10, 2011, at the McCook Christian Church in McCook with the Rev. Mike Parsh and PMA Fred Werkmeister officiating.

The couple's parents are Paul and Tami Teel of McCook and Kay Nichols of North Platte, Nebraska and Joe Werkmeister of Maywood.

The bride's grandparents are Arden and Nancy Norman of McCook and Delma Teel of Maywood. The bridegrooms grandparents are

Dee Highberger of Curtis, Nebraska, Larry and Eleanor Shindle of Lexington, Nebraska and Donna Werkmeister of Maywood.

The matron of honor was Melissa Sitzman, sister of the bride, of McCook. The maid of honor was Susan Westbrook of Manhattan, Kansas.

Bridesmaids were Stacie Fleharty, cousin of the bridegroom, of North Platte, Amber Hubl, of Stratton, Nebraska and Jennifer Hoty, of McCook.

The bride's personal attendant was Ashley Hamilton of McCook.

The best man was Casey Werkmeister, brother of the bridegroom, of North Platte.

The bridegroomsmen were Brian Kennicut of North Platte, Brandon Hagan of McCook, Clem Kucera, of Kearney, and Matt Broz of Hayes Center.

The ushers were Todd Sitzman, brother-in-law of the bride, of McCook, and Kaden and Kamren Sitzman, nephews of the bride, of McCook.

The flower girl was Tristin Fleharty, cousin of the bridegroom of North Platte.

The ring bearer was Hudson Werkmeister, son of the couple of McCook.

The guest book and program attendants were Tiffany Sellick of Palm City, Florida and Karla Hamilton of Bennington, Nebraska.

The bubble givers were Teagan and Hailey Sitzman and Keith Helm, all of McCook.

The reception followed the ceremony at Knights of Columbus Hall in McCook.

Host couple was Tracy and Lana Sitzman of McCook. Cake servers were aunts of the bridegroom Diane Werkmeister of Kearney and Della Pabst of Maxwell, Ila Werkmeister of Maywood, Cheryl Teel, aunt of the bride, of Maywood and Tiffany Brown, cousin of the bride, of Chadron, Nebraska.

The couple honeymooned in Florida and took a cruise, stopping in the Bahamas.

The bride owns and operates Tropical Tanners in McCook.

The bridegroom is a self-employed farmer in Maywood.

The couple will reside in McCook.
