Katie Lynn Dolan and Jonathan Allyn Hofer, both of Kearney, Nebraska, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Paul and Deborah Dolan of Indianola. Grandparents are Rita Curren, the late Bill Curren, Opal Dolan and the late Daniel Dolan.

Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Gary and Marcella Hofer of North Platte, Nebraska. Grandparents are the late Daniel Regier, the late Sophia Regier, the late David P. Hofer and Elsie Hofer.

The bride-to-be is a University of Nebraska-Kearney graduate and works as a second grade teacher at Faith Christian School.

The prospective bridegroom is a UNK graduate and works for Seth Denney Painting.
