McCOOK, Nebraska -- Caitlin Marie Schaffert of Indianola, Nebraska and Kiley Ray Roundtree of Parks, Nebraska were united in marriage July 2, 2011 at Peace Lutheran Church in McCook with the Revs. Carl Pullman and Tom Albertson.

Parents of the bride are Paul and Pat Schaffert of Indianola.

Parents of the bridegroom are Tom and Julie Roundtree of Parks. Grandparents are Edith Roundtree of Benkelman, Nebraska and Beverly Hansen of Sun City West, Arizona.

Maid of honor was Courtney Schaffert, sister of the bride, of Omaha, Nebraska. Matron of honor was Avery Bradney of Parks.

Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Prigge of Surprise, Nebraska, Allison Weaver of Omaha, Marnee Roundtree, sister of the bridegroom, of Parks, and Kristien Simons of Omaha.

The bride's personal attendant was Laurel Neumeyer of Elkhorn, Nebraska.

The best men were Ken Simons of Omaha, and Rory Roundtree, brother of the bridegroom, of St. Louis, Missouri.

Bridegroomsmen were Derik Lape of Falls City, Nebraska, Luke Goff of Salem, Nebraska, Brett Grabowski of Lincoln, Nebraska and Eric Ehlers of Utica, Nebraska.

Flower girls were Lexi Liess and Brynn Liess, cousins of the bridegroom, of Kansas City.

The ring bearers were Aden and Kade Schaffert, nephews of the bridegroom, of Indianola.

Ushers were Travis Reitz of Lincoln, Keith Stritt of Phoenix, Arizona, Nate Stroup of Hays, Kansas and Casey Baney of Des Moines, Iowa.

Candlelighters were Taos Dale of Bird City, Kansas and Evan Liess, cousin of the bridegroom, of Kansas City.

Guestbook and program attendants were Xzander and Xzekiel Trevino, nephews of the bride, of Indianola.

Music was provided by Shawn Pfanstiel, pianist and Marnee Roundtree, vocalist.

The reception was at the Community Building at the Red Willow County fairgrounds.

Host Couples were Kris and Dora Schaffert, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, of Indianola, Ramiro and Alyssa Trevino, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, of Indianola, Ben and Shalee Peters, brother-in-law and sister of the bridegroom, of Worms, Nebraska, and Darren and Tana Dale of Bird City.

The DJ was Fred Kennedy of Indianola.

The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas after the wedding.

The bride is a 2004 Republican Valley High School graduate. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Doane College in 2008 and studied plant pathology at Kansas State University before moving to Parks in 2010. She is a commodities merchandiser at DeBruce/Gavilon in Benkelman.

The bridegroom is a 2003 Dundy County High School graduate. He received his Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics and a minor in animal science from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2007. Since returning to Parks he has started his own cattle operation.

The couple resides near Parks.
