LINCOLN, Nebraska -- Jeannine Marie Moore, 74, died Thursday (July 21, 2011).

She was born March 4, 1937, in Hastings, Nebraska, to Gerald and Marie (Kahler) White. She graduated from North Platte High School in North Platte, Nebraska in 1955.

She worked as an administrative assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Research at the University of Nebraska for 33 years before retiring.

She married Rodney Moore in December 1956.

She was a charter member of North Pointe Community Church in Lincoln and Gideon's International Auxiliary since 1976.

He was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Rodney of Lincoln; daughters, Tamara and husband, Wade Phillips of Lincoln, Kimberly and husband, Terry Swanson of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, and Shelia and husband, Paul Potrzeba of Northville, Michigan; sisters, Shirley and husband, Tom Volz of McCook, Nebraska, and Karen and husband, Al Taylor of Georgetown, Texas; mother-in-law, Eileen Moore of McCook; six grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.

Funeral services are Saturday, 10 a.m., at North Pointe Community Church, 2224 N. Fletcher Ave., Lincoln, NE 68521, with the Revs. Andy MacFarlane and Dick LeBlanc officiating.

Family will greet friends Friday, 6-8 p.m., at Roper and Sons, 4300 'O' Street, Lincoln, NE 68510.
