Meyers, Ruppert marry
McCOOK, Nebraska -- Erin Michelle Meyers and Brent Douglas Ruppert, both of Curtis, Nebraska were united in marriage on Oct. 23, 2010 at Memorial United Methodist Church in McCook with the Rev. Lance Clay officiating.
Parents of the couple are Kent and Deb Meyers of McCook, Doug Ruppert of Curtis and Claryce Fritsche of McCook. Grandparents of the bride are Richard and Marilyn Koetter of McCook and the late Hugh and Helen Meyers. Grandparents of the bridegroom are John Ruppert of McCook, the late Lola Ruppert and Tom and Bethyl Stewart of Lincoln, Nebraska.
The maid of honor was Ashlee Andersen of Denton, Texas. The bridesmaid was Jocelyn Ludwig of Lincoln. Personal attendants were sisters-in-law of the bride, Staci Meyers of McCook, and Bambi and Natalie Meyers, both of Indianola, Nebraska.
The best man was Brandon Schultz of Cozad, Nebraska. The bridegroomsman was Mick Pesek of Western, Nebraska.
The flower girl was niece of the bride, Jaci Meyers of McCook. The ring bearer was nephew of the bride, Wyatt Meyers of McCook.
The ushers were cousins of the bridegroom, Dylan Ruppert and Eli Nutt, both of Curtis and brother of the bride, Ryan Meyers of McCook.
The guest book and program attendants were cousins of the bride, Kayla Goodenberger of McCook and Lindsay Koetter of Kearney, Nebraska. The church host couples were cousins of the bridegroom, Ryan and Francie Ruppert of Centennial, Colorado, and Willis and Libby Ruppert of McCook.
A reception took place immediately following at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds in McCook. The host couples were brothers of the bride, Jason and wife, Staci Meyers of McCook, Jeremy and wife, Bambi Meyers of Indianola, Ryan Meyers of McCook and Derek and wife, Natalie Meyers of Indianola. The cake servers were sisters-in-law of the bride, Staci Meyers of McCook, and Bambi and Natalie Meyers of Indianola.
The bride graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in animal science and animal biology. She works at McCook Public Schools as a payroll clerk and at Town and Country Market of Curtis. The bridegroom graduated from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in 2003 with an Associate of Applied Science in agriculture production and an Associates of Applied Agribusiness Management. He farms in the Maywood, Nebraska area.
The couple resides in the Maywood/Curtis area.
