Pollnow, Hays exchange vows

Amanda Pollnow and Ahren Hays

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Amanda Pollnow and Ahren Hays, both of McCook were united in marriage on Oct. 9, 2010, at the Keystone Business Center in McCook with Francine Martin officiating.

Parents of the couple are Greg and Kristy Pollnow, Greg and Cindy Hays, and Glenda Harmon, all of McCook. Grandparents of the bride are Jan Terbell of Indianola, Nebraska, and John and Tonee Gingrich of Craig, Colorado. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Imelda Hays of McCook and Betty Harmon of Mapleplain, Minnesota.

The flower girl was cousin of the bride, Tayler Mitchell of Lincoln, Nebraska. The ring bearer was nephew of the bridegroom, Hunter Koetter of McCook.

The ushers were brothers of the bridegroom, Dylan Hays and Neil Hays, both of McCook.

The candlelighter was cousin of the bride, Kayliegh Sughroue of Indianola.

The guest book and program attendants were Gayla Swisher and Renee Fritz, both of McCook.

A reception took place at the Armory in McCook. The reception coordinators were Gayla Swisher and Renee' Fritz, both of McCook, and Melba Rife of Stratton, Nebraska.

The bride graduated from McCook High School in 2006 and is employed at Farrell's Pharamacy and The Coppermill Restaurant. The bridegroom graduated McCook High School in 2007 and is employed at McCook Contracting.

The couple honeymooned in Minnesota for a week following the wedding and resides in McCook.
