The two-story house at 509 Norris Ave. in McCook, Nebraska, next door to Memorial United Methodist Church, moves off its lot this morning en route to a rural setting southwest of McCook. O'Neil Specialized Carrier and Housemoving scootched the house under power lines and weaved it around stop lights as it traveled south down Norris Avenue, east on B Street and South on Highway 83. Rebecca Patterson of McCook said the house was her grandmother's and offered to share the history of the house after it's relocated to new digs.
