Warner, Vest exchange vows
ARAPAHOE, Nebraska -- Kristin Lynn Warner of Arapahoe and Richard William Vest of Pleasanton, Nebraska were united in marriage on Sept. 25, 2010, at St. Germanus Catholic Church in Arapahoe with uncle of the bride, the Rev. Bryan Ernest and the Rev. Robert Barnhill officiating.
Parents of the couple are Reg and Mary Kay Warner of Arapahoe and Dave and Mary Vest of Pleasanton. Grandparents of the bride are Robert and Marjorie Warner of Arapahoe, Phyllis K. Ernest of Dalton, Nebraska, and the late Dominic Ernest. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Doris Ripp of Pleasanton, and the late Richard Vest, Sylvester Ripp, and Victor and Irma Kreutzer.
The maid of honor was sister of the bride, Carmen Warner of Arapahoe. The bridesmaids were Suzanne Martin of Curtis, Nebraska, Megan Burda of Grand Island, Nebraska, cousin of the bride, Karlin Warner of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Meghan Anderson of Guide Rock, Nebraska. The bride's personal attendant was Melissa Wilmarth of Athens, Georgia.
The best man was brother of the bridegroom, Dan Vest of Whitman, Nebraska. The bridegroomsmen were Clint Pritchard of Nashville, Tennessee, Ryan Boldt of Bonney Lake, Washington, Steve Boldt of Sumner, Washington, and Mike Cernik of Kearney, Nebraska.
The ushers were brother of the bride, Jason Warner of Arapahoe, cousin of the bride, Jeremy Warner of Lincoln, and cousin of the bridegroom, Derrick Vest of Pleasanton.
The flower girl was cousin of the bride, Celeste White of Shawnee, Kansas. The ring bearer was cousin of the bride, Grant Renken of Omaha, Nebraska.
The guest book attendants were sister and brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Alaina and Jason Friest of Pleasanton. The program attendants were cousin of the bridegroom, Kelsi Vest of Pleasanton and cousin of the bride, Lauren Warner of Arapahoe. The lector was the uncle of the bride, Dennis Ernest of Gering, Nebraska. The offertory couple was aunt and uncle of the bride, Suzy and Jim Ernest of Lodgepole, Nebraska. Music was provided by soloist Jackie Cornelius of Shelton, Nebraska and organist Connie Hoefs of Arapahoe.
A reception took place at Ella Missing Community Center in Arapahoe. The host couples were aunts and uncles of the bride, Kristie and Monte Warner of Beaver City, Nebraska and Naomi and Jerry Warner of Omaha, aunt and uncle of the bridegroom, Shelli and Randy Vest of Pleasanton, and godparents of the bridegroom, Dee and Joe Mlinar of St. Paul, Nebraska. The gift attendants were aunt and uncle of the bride, Lorri and Ervin Warner of Arapahoe. The guest book attendants were cousins of the bride, Lauren Warner of Arapahoe and Jessica Ernest of Lodgepole. The cake servers were cousins of the bride, Amy Warner of Edison, Nebraska, Jennifer Renken of Omaha and Kate Warner of Arapahoe.
The bride graduated from Arapahoe High School in 2001. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in family and consumer science education, and in 2007 with a Master of Science in leadership education. She is employed at Kearney Public Schools as a family and consumer science teacher.
The bridegroom graduated from Pleasanton High School in 2001 and Wyoming Technical Institute in Laramie, Wyoming with a degree in diesel mechanics and high performance engines. He is employed at Landell-Thelen Inc. John Deere in Shelton, Nebraska.
The couple will honeymoon in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in May and resides in Kearney, Nebraska.
