TRENTON, Nebraska -- Marjorie Leola Randall, 94, died Sunday (Sept. 19, 2010), at McCook Community Hospital in McCook, Nebraska.

She was born June 3, 1916, to John and Edith (Ward) Randall in Stratton, Nebraska. She attended the same school in Stratton from 1922 through graduation in 1934. During her high school years she served as news reporter and participated in school plays. She played piano prelude for her baccalaureate service.

Marjorie moved to Denver, Colorado and graduated from Success Business and Reporting College on July 1, 1938. Upon graduation she found employment as a secretary in the insurance business and remained in that field until retirement. Marjorie enjoyed attending church and was involved in the various activities. Her favorite hobby was cake decorating.

In 2004 she returned to the Hitchcock County area and resided at El Dorado Manor in Trenton until her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald Randall and Burdette Randall; sisters, Ethel Fay Randall, Maxine Crocker and Jeannine Pierce.

Survivors include nieces and nephews: Diane and husband, Gene Stoklasa of Custer, South Dakota, Phil and wife, Teresa Pierce of Ogallala, Nebraska, Terri and husband, Gary Seachord of Beatrice, Nebraska, John and wife, Janice Pierce of Lincoln, Nebraska, Christine Crocker Ochoa of Drake, Colorado; cousin, Janene Tidwell of Halls, Tennessee; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews and friends throughout Colorado.

Visitation is Friday, 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. (CDT) at Forch Funeral Chapel in Benkelman, Nebraska.

Graveside services is Friday, 1 p.m. (CDT), at Rose Hill Cemetery in Stratton, Nebraska with the Rev. Kevin Fink officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Forch Funeral Chapel of Benkelman
