Great-grandparents are J.W. and Virginia Severance of Beloit, Kansas, the late Marge Engelbert, Bill and Phyllis Engelbert of Salina, Kansas, Laura Tuner of Ransom, Kansas, the late Wayne Turner, the late Joe Flax, Mary Frances Flax of Ransom, Kansas, and the late Sylvester Simon.
