Bison runners benefit

Steve Kodad/McCook Daily Gazette Max Abercrombie (left) of Brown Shoe Fit Co. in downtown McCook presents a check for $980 to McCook High School cross-country coach Tom Sughroue. The check represented proceeds from the 2010 New Balance McCook Bison 5K Challenge 5K Run/Walk. The money will help support the Bison boys and girls cross-country teams. Abercrombie thanked all the July 31 event sponsors, including Culligan, who supplied water for all the participants.
